Wassup?
We hope you like the new CD players in the broadcast studio.
Easier to use? Nice big buttons and display panel? Pretty
lights? You can thank The Masterton Trust House Foundation
for that.
STOCKTAKING
Who's Gone?
And Then there were none.
That's right, Hailey's gone. She's left to
concentrate on her schoolwork. What's this generation coming
to?
The Meryl 60 Minutes
has reduced its duration by one hour as Meryl
leaves the region on transfer.
Collaborative Voices
are temporarily hushed.
Who's Arrived?
Eventscentric is a new
programme highlighting events and activities
taking place at The Carterton Events Centre, and is presented
by Hamish Mattheson at 1pm on Carterton Thursdays.
We are excited to have
a programme representing the numerous cultures
of the Pacific. Pasefika is presented by Tui, Georgina and
Mata every Sunday
at 6pm and repeated at 8pm on Tuesdays. It is
sponsored by Juken NZ Ltd.
Liam is becoming a familiar
face at the station, as he does a stint of
work experience at Arrow. He gets behind the microphone too,
to present WaiYouth
at 4pm on Tuesdays.
Lucy Cooper joins the
Featherston squad at 8pm on Featherston Thursdays,
with Recoopereight - geddit? It's a show about the huge
wealth of creative talent in the Featherston area, and will
feature musicians,
writers, artists, etc. She'll never run out of material.
Who's Moved?
Veronika is switching
Spaetzle Radio to Featherston in order to balance
the scheduling between our two southern bases.
What's On The Horizon?
Limelight Theatre have
engaged Arrow FM to provide training in Radio
Drama, and will be presenting a production of Under Milk Wood
on the station at the conclusion of the course. This could
be the start of
a whole season of Radio Dramas for the group, and we
will be happy, of course, to broadcast the products of their
creative work in
this field.
